Lewis Public Relations (LPR), a full-service Dallas public relations agency, today announced that Amanda Lewis Hill, MBA, APR, has joined the team as director of strategic development, and Christi Chesner has been promoted to director of account service. “These two professionals bring exceptional talent and foresight in public relations. Hill comes to LPR with more than seven years of agency, non-profit and corporate public relations experience. Prior to joining LPR, she served as associate editor for Texas Farm Bureau, the state’s largest organization representing farmers and ranchers. Hill also has expertise in the oil and gas, technology and consumer sectors, representing ConocoPhillips, Shell Oil, Yahoo! and the Boy Scouts of America through her work with FleishmanHillard.
A graduate of Baylor University, Hill holds a bachelor of arts in journalism and public relations, as well as a master of business administration from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
Chesner joined LPR as an associate in 2008 and, most recently, has served as account lead. She specializes in technology, health care and energy public relations. In her new role, she will oversee client activities throughout the agency, while further participating in the shaping of agency strategy.
